Using Sowan’s Gluten-Free Scone Mix, it’s a simple and delicious dessert or teatime treat that’s easy to prepare and even easier to enjoy. Best served warm with a generous drizzle of extra.

- Mixing bowl

Ingredients:
- 1 pack Sowan’s gluten-free scone mix
- 110 g butter
- 70 ml natural yogurt
- 2 medium eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 400 g cooking apples, peeled and sliced
- 250 ml gluten-free ready-made custard (150 ml in the recipe, 100 ml to serve
Method:
- Preheat oven to 160°C (fan).
- Prepare the Sowan’s scone mix according to packet instructions,
adding the cinnamon and sliced apples. - Grease and line a 20 × 30 cm (4 cm-deep) baking tray with
parchment paper, allowing the paper to hang over the sides. - Pour the mixture into the prepared tin. Spoon over the custard
and swirl it through with a knife. - Bake for 30 minutes, or until golden and set.
- Leave to cool for 10 minutes before serving warm with extra
custard.
